We believe in the power of knowing our source. Early this spring, I had the pleasure of visiting Homestead Springs and chatting with Jane Myers, the our local lard producer. Jane and her husband Damon run an amazing farm in Ashland, Ohio. They’ve got everything from hogs to cows to freshwater trout and salmon! We love how thoughtfully Damon and Jane approach agriculture. RedbudSuds Opens Mini-Shop in Ohio and New Online Store

We're open and ready for business! On Friday, March 4th, we opened our first retail shop within the 2nd April Galerie in Canton, Ohio. Don't live in Ohio? No sweat! We opened a new online shop, too. In OHIO: The 2nd April Galerie boasts a lovely collection of local art and artisans, from ceramics, jewelry, photography, paintings and more… now including RedbudSuds. Be ye not confused: 2nd April Galerie is the name of the gallery, not the date we open. The RedbudSuds shop is on the second floor. Come visit any time! Redbud Suds and Abroad: Top Environmental Stories of 2015

While the first few weeks in January are great for making goals for the upcoming year, I’ve also been enjoying a bit of reflection on the year behind us. For Redbud Suds, 2015 meant celebrating one full year of being in business. It has been amazing to see things grow from one stainless steel pot and a shelf in the kitchen to an entire dedicated floor of our house with space for production, curing, and shipping. Three cheers to that.
