We believe that everyday actions matter. Both in business and in our personal lives, we know we won’t get anywhere unless we start somewhere. So here’s our beginning.
Our mission:
To be THOUGHTFULLY CLEAN, with sourcing, sustainability, and simplicity in mind. Here are a few ways we’ve woven this this into the core of REDBUDSUDS.
1 | SOURCING
We choose our suppliers with compassion. We choose local first (lard -- read more here), then USA-sourced ingredients (like lavender oil, citrus oil, sea clay), and then we look to international sources when we must (fair trade shea butter, other bulk oils, various essential oils). Transparency is critically important to us. Visit our blog for more information on our ingredients and sourcing.
2 | SUSTAINABILITY
We care so much because we’ve been swept off our feet by the beauty in this world. We passionately believe that it is our responsibility to protect that beauty for future generations. We promote sustainability in three ways: EcoChallenges, 1% for the Planet, and Discussion Courses.

1% for the Planet: As a member of this amazing organization of environmental philanthropists, we commit to donating 1% of our annual sales towards local water and land conservation efforts. For every shampoo bar you purchase, 1% goes directly to conserving our precious resources. Pretty sweet. Read more here.

3 | SIMPLICITY
We choose to be mindful, compact and simple in all we do. In the products we make, in the things we buy, in the ways we promote: we choose multipurpose first. We are committed to using the least amount of packaging possible, and designing products to allow you to do the same.
